THE VEGETABLE GROUP meets regularly from Spring to Autumn by invitation to a group member's home.
An afternoon of tea and discussions on planting times, successes with specific vegetables in many categories is extremely informative.
With both climate and garden soils to contend with it is important to know what vegetables will thrive.
Members have a good knowledge and provide sound advice when starting out.
