Wise words

Please click here to read a talk given by Clare at the recent Vegetable Group meeting.

Contains many important reminders about how we tackle working alone in our gardens and our safety.

THE VEGETABLE GROUP meets regularly from Spring to Autumn by invitation to a group member's home.

An afternoon of tea and discussions on planting times, successes with specific vegetables in many categories is extremely informative.

With both climate and garden soils to contend with it is important to know what vegetables will thrive.

Members have a good knowledge and provide sound advice when starting out.

TO JOIN: Please contact the Secretary as this group is open to IGC members only.

This was a very special end of year meeting, packed with unexpected results from the group despite the very difficult growing conditions.

Even if you are not a vegetable grower it makes for interesting reading.
